Making a Difference in Dodge

Polka Dot Pants is a funky little shop located in Cumberland, B.C., a unique little village on Vancouver Island. Many of us choose to live here to be close to the mountains, the sea and the forest. It truly is a natural playground and an amazing place to raise a family.

Cumberland has a nickname summarizing it's Wild West past. Tales of coal mining triumphs and disasters, of bar room brawls and Chinese opera houses. Stories of old country lawlessness and years of perseverance have earned the Village it's nickname - Dodge City.

Today, "Dodge City" is a village full of heritage, community action and social change. In Cumberland we have two registered non-profit societies that work tirelessly to better our community. Polka Dot Pants is pleased to offer our consignees the opportunity to donate your share of consigned sales to either the Cumberland Community Schools Society or the Cumberland Community Forest Society. When you bring your items in we will sort through and select which items we will carry in the store. We add your items to the Society's account. At the end of each month, money generated from sales of those items will be passed on to the chosen Society. Easy peasy!

Please review our Consignment Guidelines to see what to bring us and how much will be donated.

“Polka dots can't stay alone; like the communicative life of people, two or three polka dots become movement. Polka-dots are a way to infinity.”
