Polka Dot Pants was opened by two close friends and loves in May of 2010 with a goal of offering Cumberland families a truly unique alternative to traditional women's & children's retail..

The odd couple Eug and Kat along with their seven year-old daughter and five year-old son, are fulfilling their dreams of owning their own environmentally friendly business!

Eug is a transplant from the Mainland and Kathryn is a born and raised Islander. They chose Cumberland to enjoy all that Island life has to offer. They are frequent mountain bikers, skiers, snowboarders, campers, and explorers! On typical days off, you will find the four of them out and about enjoying local cafes and parks, and taking trips to both the mountains and the coast.
